She's covered all kinds of subjects over the years, winning many newspaper association awards along the way. She is a proud mom to one son and foster mom to hundreds of rescued cats and kittens over the years. She enjoys writing, reading, photography and baking, and is a diehard Toronto Blue Jays fan
