I would really hate to see this mall close but unfortunately at this point I think the writing is on the wall. The most interesting thing however is that Sephora just went in there. You think they would have done a bit better market research.

What a joke of a response. This city and its leadership/management never cease to amaze me. They used to clear from the end of driveways years go, the million dollar question is, why don't they still do it ?

Completely agree. However, I don't want to beat up on the city employees because they do a great job and I know it's out of their hands. This all boils down to poor management and leadership. In the past they would always send a loader behind to clear driveways when the snow or ice got to an excessive amount from scraping the roads. Now they do not and it is unacceptable because like the letter said, it's dangerous and unmanageable for a lot of people. Snow removal this year has been horrible. We live in the north and should always be prepared. Roads are terribly plowed, extremely narrow and snowbanks are dangerously high in most areas. I have lived here my whole life and know for a fact the city can do much better with snow removal, they just choose not to.

This is silly and shouldn't be allowed. If the current government in power holds a majority they should not be allowed to call a snap election, unless of course someone resigned or death, illness etc.. And what if he loses his majority? Then what ? All for nothing.

We do not need an early election. He has a majority already and he still has time. I don't see the point

Everyone wants a federal election but we get a provincial instead .. 🤦🙄 I really don't understand what he thinks he's gunna achieve with this but sure. Let's head to the polls

Not surprised. Putting a restaurant like that in a former landmark location like Muios.. sorry but the odds were against them. Kudos for trying though, not an easy business.

I am well aware that the 3 closures I mentioned have nothing to do with the Station mall ownership. I am just pointing out that this mall seems to take one step forward and two steps back.
