No offense to the university, but GOOD!!! Sudbury does not have enough housing for the international students currently and it isn't manditory for them to live on campus.

No not because it is disrespectful, no because it is childish and has no impact on the events.

He needs to go so that means you don't vote for his party so they see a reason to replace him.

I think the Poll should have had two more options, 1) I never vote liberal so it doesn't matter who was leader, they still won't get my vote. 2) I vote liberal usually but the MPs did not stand against the issues important to me so I will be voting for another party.

Housing for family's are needed, the difference though is now instead of a family of 4 living in a 3 bedroom like they use to be able to, now they are renting a 1 bedroom apartment. The kids get the bedroom and the parents the living room on a pull out couch.
Just because family's are housed does not mean they are in appropriate size housing for the ages and genders of their children.

436 new housing units broke ground this year... however we are at a 4% available housing deficit to be deemed healthy.
I am curious how much of the 4% was dented with the 436 new units that were in the building phase this year vs the new residents to sudbury this year. It is very sad when a city with much land as Sudbury cannot mass produce basic row homes and 4 plex's to meet the needs.
Unfortunately it is not financially worth it to developers to speed up building as that decreases future new builds by giving extra availability.
Developers essentially control the market for future profits.

This is how you destroy family home neighborhoods and cause everything to become apartments. How about instead of creating change like this, the city find more cost effective and efficient ways to reduce the impact the city has on building new family homes.
